NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK– As roads continue to crumble and car accidents pile up, New York City officials put out a statement saying that they’re waiting for a few more accidents, injuries, and deaths before they think about maybe, possibly doing some repair work on the crater-riddled streets.
The Democrat mayor of New York City Eric Adams addressed the growing problems with the city’s crumbling roads and infrastructure by asking the overly aggressive news reporters a question of his own.
“So, you people tell me, who’s the mayor of New York City?” Mayor Adams asked the confused reporters. “Worrying about filling a couple little holes in the street are not my concern. Besides, New York City has the best roads in the country, as well as being the safest city in America. Now, if you’ll excuse me for a moment. I have to readjust my bulletproof vest.”
The mayor went on to say that there isn’t enough money in the city’s budget to do any road repair due to having to allocate millions of dollars to the thousands of illegal aliens currently residing in The Big Apple NYC.
“We have much bigger priorities here in our city,” promised Adams. “We have new illegal migrants coming in from Haiti soon and all the money normally given to the Department of Public Works will now be given to the Department of Protecting Illegal Immigrants. I mean, what kind of sick people are you that you’d put the death of a child from a pothole over an illegal migrant’s four-star hotel stay?”
Mayor Adams also reiterated the fact that it’s just a coincidence that most of the worst cities in America are run by Democrats.
At publishing time, a group of frustrated New Yorkers began filling the potholes themselves but were quickly arrested for damaging public property and for stealing jobs away from illegal aliens.
