CONCORD, NEW HAMPSHIRE– Tired of his mundane life and looking for something to do to energize his apathetic spirit, a local bored cat named Buster decided to take a huge step in life and go on a much-needed vacation by strolling a whole twenty feet across the room to sit at a different window.
“I’ve been feeling kind of stressed lately and knew it was time to take a break from the monotony,” said Buster, referring to sleeping 15 hours a day and moving his head to reach a food bowl. “I decided to take a huge leap in life and walk all the way over to the other side of the room to sit at a different window.”
Buster said he was kind of scared at first, being that the other window was so far away and he wasn’t certain if he’d be able to make it over there without having to stop a few times to take a nap.
“It was a grueling nine hour trip, but I finally made it,” said Buster as he stretched his sore muscles after finally reaching the other window. “I’ll probably have to sleep in for the first few days to recuperate before I can enjoy this vacation by opening my eyes a few times just to look at a different tree.”
The laid-back cat said even though he has been enjoying the beautiful new scenery at the faraway place he misses his old home and plans on calling his owner by meowing a few times to come pick him up and carry him back over to the other window ledge.
