MANHATTAN, NEW YORK– After receiving major backlash for one of their Muppet characters ignoring a black customer, Sesame Street made up for their mistake and proved that the company’s not racist by executing a white male Muppet character on their last episode.
In the brave episode, Muppets of color Big Bird and Elmo strapped a racist puppet named Brad to an electric chair where he was shocked and fried until he was dead, with the show ending with a message of hope saying that the bigoted puppet’s murder proves Sesame Street is both tolerant and accepting of most people.
“I truly hope this execution of Brad now puts to rest any doubt that Sesame Street loves black Americans,” said Jonathan Goldsteinbergowitz, Jr., a representative for the company. “Sesame Street does not tolerate any hate or contempt for almost any groups of people, so by executing the Muppet we feel we’ve made an amends with the black community and now we can all come together and heal.”
The representative said that you can’t put a price on the powerful message of the latest Sesame Street execution episode, so offering the slighted black customer any money is not only unnecessary but also off the table.
Sesame Street plans to further make up to the black community by introducing a new black Muppet character named Lil Shizzle, who teaches children how to do drive by shootings, sell drugs, and pimp slap their hoes for shorting them money.
