LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA– Governor Gavin Newsom announced on his Twitter X account this morning that he will be starring in the upcoming season of Rupaul’s Drag Race as one of the drag queen contestants, saying that he’s proud to finally showcase his alternative lifestyle to the world.
After winning his reelection as California’s totally legitimate governor, Gavin Newsom figured it was now safe enough for him to come out as a cross-dressing male because so many Californians love, admire, and adore him, as shown in his recent honest election victory.
“I’m proud to announce that I’ll be starring in next season’s Drag Race as a beautiful, buxom blonde,” Gov. Gavin Newsom wrote in an earlier tweet. “No longer will I have to hide who I really am, thanks to all the real people who came out in droves to vote me back into office. This is your reward, America.”
Famous drag queen Rupaul, the host of Drag Race, put out a statement once the news went public of Newsom joining the series, saying he is thrilled and honored to be working with the flamboyant governor and hopes this will encourage Newsom to join him in California’s next drag pageant and gay pride parade also dressed up as his feminine self.
At publishing time, the office of former President Biden said that Joe is very proud of Newsom’s decision to join the popular television series and that the former president has also been toying with the idea of joining the show in drag in an effort to kickstart his acting career.
