NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK– Cancel culture has officially apologized for censoring the books of Dr. Seuss after claiming the children’s classics were written by an evil, right-wing, conservative Trump supporter, not realizing the author of the stories was actually a liberal Democrat.
In typical kneejerk fashion, Democrats attacked the works of Dr. Seuss for racist undertones and called for the works to be pulled from publication, banned from sale on eBay, and to have Dr. Seuss himself posthumously brought up on charges of hate crimes.
Once liberals on Twitter were informed that Dr. Seuss was in fact a Democrat and that only Republicans can be racist, they quickly took out their aggressions by tweeting angrily at Donald Trump’s deleted account.
Online auction site eBay put out a statement informing their community that due to the new information Dr. Seuss books are no longer considered racist and will be back up for sale immediately.
“We originally removed the works of Dr. Seuss to help fight against the threat of racism,” eBay wrote in the statement. “Once we realized the author was in fact a liberal Democrat, we quickly unbanned the sale of the books and promise to make up for our horrible mistake by donating ten percent of every sale to the distribution of puberty blockers to fetuses.”
