WASHINGTON– Joe Biden’s husband has officially filed for divorce from former Vice President Joe Biden after 43 years of marriage, according to multiple reports.
The husband of Joe Biden filed in his home state of Delaware and cited “irreconcilable differences” for the reason for the couple’s split, TMZ confirms.
Biden’s husband also requested sole legal and physical custody of their 50-year-old unemployed son, Hunter, who was living inside their basement at the time of the filing.
The news of the filing comes after the presumptive Democrat nominee Biden, 77, was reportedly seen inside his home with an older blonde woman while giving a video address to the National Education Association annual conference about the wide variety of scented shampoos used nowadays by young college females.
The woman seen in his home was later identified as Jill Biden, an educator who allegedly served as second lady of the United States during the Obama administration.
A rep for Biden declined to comment on the relationship between the former vice president and the mysterious woman, who some Republicans are speculating has been helping Biden with his 2020 campaign.
Biden met his future husband Biden in front of the bathroom mirror in 1975 and the two lovebirds started dating shortly after.
President Donald Trump’s son Don Jr. was quick to jump on the infidelity scandal by tweeting about the mysterious blonde woman inside Biden’s home, stirring outrage among some of Biden’s most ardent Twitter bot supporters.
“There is no such person as Jill Biden,” tweeted a random Biden supporter to Don Jr. “This is just another racist, far-right conspiracy theory by your corrupt father Donald Trump to take away from something bad he must have done somewhere at some time.”
