HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA– In the midst of an already major blockbuster summer with Avengers: Endgame making billions, yet another superhero movie called Rock Dude: Paper War will be setting theater screens on fire with the introduction of a lesser known superhero called Rock Dude.
According to the official comic book story, Rock Dude was formed in a California desert during the Shale Wars and ended up being separated from his parents, who inevitably were destroyed by the Rock’s archenemies the Papers. Although Rocks have super strength and can easily destroy their other enemies the Scissors, Paper covers Rock and causes Rock intense pain, eventually killing it.
“This’s where the children’s game Rock, Paper, Scissors came from,” said Ben Leopold, famous Hollywood executive who churned out such movie classics as Coffee: Hold The Milk, Candy In My Shoes, and Seagull and Crow: A Love Story. “In the upcoming film Rock Dude: Paper War, we show Rock Dude from birth to adulthood and also show how close he came to dying one time during a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors.”
Growing up on the beaches of California, Rock Dude acquired a taste for surfing, babes, hippie clothing, and a very thick surfer’s lingo. It wasn’t until Rock Dude’s enemy Paper Trail showed up on the scene that he decided to devote his entire life to fighting crime.
“Prepare to get beaten by a totally bad-ass dude, dude,” Rock Dude said to Paper Trail during a sneak-peak of the final scene of the movie. “I still owe you one, guy, for what your peeps did to my ‘rents. Rock on.”
As part of the promotion for the upcoming Rock Dude: Paper War movie, the production company will be coming out with a line of toys for children in local retailers. For $11.99 people can purchase a real rock used for Rock Dude or a piece of paper meant to be Paper Trail.
