HARTFORD, CONNECTICUT– Surgeons at the Hartford Quickie Medical Center discovered an Eastern chipmunk living inside the vaginal cavity of a 22 year old woman after she went into the emergency room thinking that she was pregnant.
According to the official medical report, surgeons started performing emergency pregnancy protocol on the woman and that was when they made the startling discovery.
“We were flabbergasted when we saw a chipmunk up there,” said Dr. Kendle Kendleson III, the surgeon who oversaw the procedure. “The patient was showing all signs of a legitimate pregnancy, such as distended belly, internal kicking, morning sickness, and superhuman strength. Never in my career as a physician have I ever seen a chipmunk as cute as that little furry guy.”
The cute chipmunk, who medical personnel named Winky, had been living inside of the woman since October when he went into hiding for his instinctual winter hibernation. Physicians stated the striped rodent had nuts inside of his cheek pouch that he planned on eating once awake.
“The female patient was relaxing in a bikini by her pool last October and had fallen asleep,” Dr. Kendleson explained, showing Fox News reporters an x-ray of the woman’s pelvic area.
“Winky had burrowed into the woman, thinking he was going underground, and had been hibernating in there all winter. It wasn’t until he sensed the summer weather that he started moving around, which’s what startled the woman. And I hate to repeat myself, but have you ever seen a chipmunk as cute as this little furry guy?”
When asked by reporters if it was difficult to remove the chipmunk from the woman, Dr. Kendleson shook his head and giggled.
“Nah, the only thing I had to do was hold a peanut near the entrance-way and Winky came out on his own.”
