DOVER, DELAWARE– A new poll recently released out of the Dover Polling Institute says that most people believe that chicken tastes like chicken, leading many skeptics to try eating chicken for the first time.
According to the poll, 8 out of 10 people said that once they tasted the bird they realized that all the rumors were true.
“I admit I was a little surprised,” said 53 year Baxter Rogers, one of the people polled. “I never ate chicken in my life, even though everybody kept telling me that it tastes like chicken. I was a tad skeptical of whether they were telling the truth or not because of the time I ate elephant feces after my friends kept telling me that it tastes like chicken.”
Rogers went on to say that he’ll now swap some of his elephant feces dishes for similar tasting chicken recipes for a change of pace.
Even though most of the people polled claim that chicken does in fact taste like chicken, some of the individuals polled said that it tasted more like elephant feces.
“I wasn’t impressed,” admitted 31 year old Mitchell Jones. “All these years people been trying to force me to eat chicken, saying that it’s so good. I’ve eaten elephant feces on numerous occasions and personally, I’d eat elephant feces over chicken any day.”
The Dover Polling Institute promises that their next food poll will answer the age old questions of whether coffee made from elephant feces tastes more like coffee or elephant feces and whether elephant feces made from coffee tastes more like elephant feces or coffee.
