LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA– In a new tell-all book set to hit bookstores next week, Moe Howard, the most famous of The Three Stooges, reportedly confessed to a man that he played the parts of all five stooges and that none of the other stooges even existed.
The new book, aptly titled All Five Moes, was written by 65 year old Jack Sprite, a man who says that he drove by Moe Howard’s home on the day that Moe died back in 1975.
In his explosive new release he reveals a decades old secret that head stooge Moe Howard played, not only his part, but the parts of Larry, Curly, Shemp, and Joe. He also discloses that Curly-Joe was actually just Moe playing Curly and Joe at the same time.
“I still remember that day vividly,” Sprite said to a reporter for a Three Stooges fan club. “I was about 20 years old at the time and I was driving to Main Street to pick up a Thai prostitute when I passed by Moe Howard’s residence. I was driving pretty slow cause I just drank a six pack of beer and I didn’t need any heat from the cops, so I was able to hear clearly what came out of Moe’s window.”
For years everyone believed that there were five separate stooges, Sprite said, and that Hollywood at the time did their best to cover it up.
“Yeah, everyone had suspicions about Moe playing all five parts,” Sprite added as he drank a can of Sprite.
“The closest people came to finding out the truth was when Moe forgot to take off his black wig when he was playing the part of Curly. He was out in public with his Moe wig on and people started calling him Moe. Studio execs had to kill all those witnesses just to cover up the secret from leaking out to the press.”
Even though his new book gives an inside look into one of Hollywood’s darkest secrets, Sprite wanted to make his own confession.
“To be honest, I don’t even know who this Moe Howard is,” he said, shrugging his shoulders. “People keep coming up to me and asking me questions about the guy, so I just nod and tell them that Moe was a great man who loved his country. He was probably the best president we ever had.”
