HOLLYWOOD — Director Christopher Nolan has officially greenlit Odyssey 2: Electric Boogaloo, the sequel to his already infamous 2026 adaptation of Homer’s The Odyssey. The director, still basking in the pre-release backlash over casting black actress Lupita Nyong’o as the white-armed Helen of Troy, has decided the only logical next step is to double down even harder on the woke casting.
The upcoming sequel will star Megan Thee Stallion as Twerking Achilles, a character described as “a black, disabled, non-binary warrior who uses their twerking to defeat the Trojans.”
Sources close to production say her signature twerking choreography will be the centerpiece of the film’s climactic battle sequence, set to a rap remix of the Iliad’s opening lines.
“Achilles was always meant for a black woman,” said Christopher Nolan during an interview, defending the casting choice as though it were a great idea. “The original Achilles was a boring white guy. Megan brings the fire, diversity, and big booty shaking ass we need for an ancient Greek epic.”
Other famous black celebrities set to star in the upcoming movie include Oprah Winfrey as Patroclus, Jay-Z as Odysseus, Lizzo as Circe, Rupaul as Zeus, and Michelle Obama as the Cyclops.
At press time, the studio has already announced a third installment, Odyssey 3: Wakanda Forever, in which the entire surviving cast time-travels to Wakanda to teach the Dora Milaje how to fight colonialism with choreography.
