WASHINGTON– In preparation for his upcoming high-stakes summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, President Donald Trump has revealed he has been binge-watching the 1985 classic movie Rocky IV as a way to outsmart Putin and resolve the ongoing Ukraine conflict.
With members of his Cabinet inside of the Oval Office, Trump took mental notes as Rocky IV played on the big screen TV for the 17th time this week, searching for unconventional strategies to lead to a breakthrough with Putin.
“President Putin will never know what hit him,” said Trump with a dry smile to his Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth. “Rocky IV is a tremendous movie, the best. There’s so much to learn in Rocky IV about geopolitics and dealing with Putin’s Russia. Look at the way Rocky beats the Russian guy. I’m going to be Rocky to Putin’s Drago. Even though I look more like Drago myself, but with much better hair.”
Sources in Moscow claimed Put has also been spending time watching Rocky IV for his upcoming meeting with Trump, reportedly going around shirtless during meetings with other various world leaders.
Democrats have attacked Trump’s recent obsession with the boxing movie, claiming that it’s more proof of the president being on the payroll of the Kremlin.
It was reported that Trump also began watching the 2023 movie Cocaine Bear for his future meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
