WASHINGTON– President Joe Biden has stirred a bit of controversy with some of his picks for the Presidential Medal of Freedom, which included various evil villains like George Soros, Hillary Clinton, and famous burned serial killer Freddy Krueger.
Biden award the highest civilian honor to Freddy Krueger for his tireless efforts at trying to get people to sleep and also for his affinity for children, a trait that holds a close spot in the outgoing president’s heart.
“Today, we honor one of the greatest men to have ever lived, or dreamed,” said Biden jokingly to the audience as he prepared to place the medal around Krueger. “This award is for all the compassionate work Freddy Krueger has done to try and help people sleep. Freddy started his career working closely with children in his neighborhood before going on to spend years researching a cure for people’s sleeplessness.”
With a charred smile, Freddy thanked Biden for the award before giving a quick acceptance speech, saying, “Thank you, President Biden, for this honor. I feel honored to be here with people who are even more evil than I am, like my good friends Hillary and Mr. Soros. I’ve devoted my life to trying to get people to sleep, and even though there may have been a few casualties along the way, I hope my work will inspire others to follow in my footsteps.”
Also receiving the prestigious Freedom award posthumously was culinary chef Jeffrey Dahmer.
