SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA– On the heels of recently banning all AI-generated images in California, Governor Gavin Newsom has confirmed that all those images and videos of homeless people pooping everywhere all these years have been highly edited deepfakes.
According to Newsom’s office, people have been misled all these years into thinking that all those pictures, videos, and even eyewitness accounts of seeing homeless people and drug addicts crapping everywhere were real, which were simply highly crafted deepfakes created by rightwing extremist Trump supporters in an effort to make Democrats look bad.
“It’s a fact that any images or videos you see of people pooping in the streets is not real,” said Governor Gavin Newsom in front of a cardboard cutout of a clean city to hide all the trash and poop behind him. “Rightwing conspiracy theorists have created these fake pooping AI images to make me look bad, when everyone knows that California has the cleanest cities in the world and no homeless people.”
Gavin Newsom also pointed to all the recent controversy surrounding Republicans accusing Vice President Kamala Harris of using of AI-generated rallies in an effort to make her look popular, saying that the Democrat candidate’s rallies are in fact real and will be signing another bill later this week making it illegal to accuse Democrats of using deepfakes.
The governor also claimed that other notorious images such as him flaunting his own COVID rules during the pandemic were also deepfakes.
