ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI– In response to a major boycott from hiring a BLM activist to promote their products, Dove Soap was proud to announce that they are going all in by also partnering with Anheuser-Busch’s controversial Bud Light brand beer by creating a limited edition Bud Light soap bar.
A spokesperson for Dove said that even though they couldn’t understand why millions of people were upset with their decision to partner with a fat liberation activist who wrongly accused someone of racism to promote their soap products, they decided to make it up to their longtime customers by letting them wash their bodies with a bar of soap with the design of America’s most talked about beer brand on it.
“This is one of the best marketing decisions we’ve ever made,” said Dove spokesperson Rolly Castile. “We saw how popular Bud Light became after partnering with gorgeous trans woman Dylan Mulvaney to promote their beer, so our think tanks at Dove started thinking of which positive role model Dove could partner with to top that.”
When asked by a reporter why Dove sales had suddenly dropped after partnering with BLM activist Zyahna Bryant, Castile said that wasn’t true and that sales were actually increasing once you turn the chart upside down.
Dove hinted that they’re also in talks with Dylan Mulvaney to promote their new Bud Light soap by having the popular transgender star demonstrate how to use the Dove soap in a new “sexy, sudsy, bathtub commercial while drinking a Bud Light, eating Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, and shaving her face with a Target brand razor.”
