DECATUR, GEORGIA– After Democrat Stacey Abrams came under fire this week for tweeting a photo of herself mask-less around dozens of muzzled children, the former gubernatorial candidate fired back at her critics saying that she got hungry and was forced to eat the mask due to the school not having enough food to eat while she was there visiting for five minutes.
Abrams claims she did nothing wrong and blames the school for not ordering enough food, saying she was also forced to eat the young student’s lunches to give her enough energy to pose for the camera.
“It’s shameful that so many people are criticizing me for eating on Black History Month,” said Abrams while chewing on her tongue. “Instead of focusing the blame on me, we should be asking why the racist school wasn’t prepared with enough food for my visit. This is yet another example of the rampant systemic racism in this country.”
The school put out a statement saying they apologize to Abrams for only ordering 30 pounds of food for her five minute photo op event and offered to make it up to her by sending three vans of Uber Eats to her house for dinner tonight.
Early this morning, Abrams removed the unmasked photo that she posted on Twitter, then deep-fried and ate it while waiting for Uber Eats to arrive.
