KENOSHA, WISCONSIN– A hilarious scene unfolded earlier today when an NBC journalist was dragged for three miles behind a bus carrying the jurors for the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, getting his tie caught on the bumper after trying to uncover the identity of the people inside.
The witness who called 911 after seeing the NBC reporter getting pulled along the highway claims that at first he thought it was an animal being dragged along the busy street.
“I thought it was a poor, defenseless animal getting brutally dragged along the road going fifty miles per hour,” said the eye witness, recalling the incident. “If I would’ve known it was a lowlife, scumbag fake news reporter then I never would’ve called the police.”
Once news of the incident became public, a laughing Judge Bruce Schroeder made the announcement on live television. The judge told the courtroom that the reporter’s bumbling mishap reminded him of the scene in National Lampoon’s Vacation where Clark Griswold tied the family dog to the back of the car and drove until the pet canine met its demise.
“That dog scene from Lampoon’s was one of the funniest moments in the history of cinema,” said Judge Schroeder as he played the movie scene on the court TV. “Only difference is, that genius NBC reporter accidentally tied himself to the bumper. Just wait till Aunt Edna hears about this one.”
What a wonderful world this would be.
