HOLLYWOOD– E!’s meddlesome series True Hollywood Story is back with a vengeance this year and the network is planning some all new controversial topics on famous puppets that they guarantee will be even more scandalous than their human celebrity stories.
After a lackluster first promo that focused on Kim Kardashian and the hip-hop Hollywood scene, E! executives decided to take things a step further and delve into the even juicier side of Hollywood that even human celebrities are afraid to partake in.
“Mermit the Frog: Kermit’s Drug-Addicted Stripper Sister” is the first in a long line of planned stories that deals with what really goes on behind the scenes of children’s favorite puppet shows.
This episode will put the spotlight on Kermit’s not-so-famous younger sister Mermit and digs deep into her career as a part-time stand-up comedienne and full-time prostitute, porn star, stripper, heroin-addict, cocaine dealer, drug mule, bank robber, pedophile, and serial murderer.
“Find out Mermit’s darkest secrets,” the show clip teases. “And you’ll never believe what Mermit and her sadist brother are wanted for in 22 states. Be sure to tune in.”
Even though the episode focuses on Mermit, the show lightly touches on her famous brother Kermit and how he tried getting his stripper sister help with her addictions by stealing all her drugs and using them himself.
The show clip also teases us with a big revelation about Kermit that producers say no one knows about yet.
Online experts are speculating that the big revelation has something to do with Kermit’s own struggles with addiction and also his 2009 arrest for allegedly murdering nineteen Thai prostitutes for which he was acquitted for in 2011 after a lengthy trial.
E! promises this will be the most hardcore episode to date and has announced future puppet True Hollywood Story episodes about other famous puppets, including Howdy Doody, Big Bird from Sesame Street, Miss Piggy, Pinocchio, and King Friday from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood.
