WASHINGTON– As people go to vote on Tuesday’s election, they will be witnessing the government’s all new security measures in action. Even though the new security procedures may seem extreme to some people, officials are promising that the new system will make voter fraud almost impossible.
In August, the Justice Department announced the prosecution of 669 people for illegal voting. One more person and that total would have been 670. Some politicians are claiming that the number of illegal voters is much higher.
In fact it is quite easy to commit voter fraud, but implementing new security measures is even easier. Already in place inside voting stations are armed guards, video cameras, guard dogs, and barbed wire, but apparently this wasn’t enough to thwart past voter fraud.
Starting this year, polling stations will utilize fingerprint checks, body cavity searches, DNA tests, dental records, blood tests, urinalysis tests, body fat calipers, and breathalyzers to identify voters.
If a prospective voter goes through all the aforementioned tests and officials are still unsure of whether someone is legitimate or not, then a highly sophisticated mind meld will be used to read the person’s thoughts.
Voter fraud is a serious problem and naysayers need to understand that every fraudulent vote cancels out a legitimate vote.
