ST. LOUIS, TORONTO– The Blue Jays held on to their winning streak by utilizing their notorious flying skills and aggressive play. The Cardinals lack of hitting their opponents back and ground play caused them to lose every peanut thrown to them.
The Cardinals were shut out at home to the Blue Jays, who flew in from a field across the street. They are 2-3 overall this season after defeating the Orioles last week, who have even weaker tree to ground skills than the Cardinals.
One of the Cardinals was injured after a Blue Jay used its beak to defend one of its peanuts.
It was a disappointing loss for the Cardinals after going hungry for two days since their last win. The Blue Jays scored the first three peanuts to take the early lead, which they just kept on racking up.
This is the fourth consecutive win for the Blue Jays. Their only loss came after facing the Marlins on their home ocean turf.
