LONDON, UK– The Metropolitan Police Service has been showered with praise for their courageous arrest of a 32-year-old British man who was viciously stabbed by a Somali migrant in a London alleyway. The officers, who arrived at the scene as the attacker attempted to stab numerous other people, demonstrated remarkable bravery by pinning the bleeding victim to the ground and handcuffing him.
The victim, identified as John Smith, was rushed to the hospital for emergency surgery while the police took statements from witnesses who described the attacker as a tall, dark-skinned violent male with a thick accent. However, the officers prioritized apprehending Smith on charges of “hate speech” after he allegedly muttered “This is why we need Reform” while being treated for his injuries.
“We commend our officers for their swift action in protecting the community from this dangerous individual,” said a police spokesperson. “His reckless comments about immigration could have incited violence against our vibrant migrant population.”
The Somali attacker, identified as 25-year-old Abdi Hassan, was later found at a local mosque where he had sought asylum. However, police declined to arrest him, citing concerns that deportation could violate his human rights. Instead, Hassan was offered counseling and a spot in a government-funded “Knife Appreciation & Mindfulness” program.
Prime Minister Keir Starmer praised the police for their “exemplary service” and announced plans to award them the King’s Gallantry Medal. “This incident highlights the importance of our Hate Crime Unit in keeping Britain safe from domestic White extremism,” he said.
The victim, John Smith, remains in critical condition and faces up to five years in prison if convicted of hate speech. His family has been barred from visiting him until he completes a diversity sensitivity course.
