MENLO PARK, CALIFORNIA– Millions of people around the world were in a panic this morning after Meta platforms Facebook and Instagram went down, including CEO Mark Zuckerberg who was forced to go onto his competitor Elon Musk’s social media site Twitter X to see what was happening.
After getting logged out of Facebook and then trying to reset his password hundreds of times, Zuckerberg quietly logged back into his secret Twitter X account to see if Facebook was down or if his account was hacked.
Zuckerberg was relieved once he realized his Facebook account wasn’t hacked into and it was simply because Facebook is horrible and always has technical issues.
“Glad to see I’m not the only real human having problems with the Facebook,” wrote Zuckerberg using his fake Twitter X account named I’m Not Mark Zuckerberg. “I really hope that the great humans at Facebook can get it up and back running again because this Twitter X platform will never be as good as those Meta platforms.”
In vain, Zuckerberg tried locating a contact number or even an email for Facebook support to try to get logged back into his Meta account, but was unsuccessful.
“Having some difficulties finding contact information for Facebook,” wrote Zuckerberg. “Oh wait, I finally found a customer service number and just sent them a message. It seems as though I am having troubles reaching a live human. I received some kind of automated reply saying there was an error.”
At publishing time, Zuckerberg stated that he was still not able to access Facebook or Instagram and still had not heard back from Meta regarding his issue.
