FLORIDA– Thousands of Democrats in Florida were jubilant after Hurricane Ian ripped through the Sunshine State and destroyed their homes, with many of them taking to social media to say that they welcomed the destruction because it reflected poorly on the leadership of Governor Ron DeSantis.
As hundreds of happy liberals took photos of their annihilated homes and then posted them to Twitter, Hurricane Ian began making its way out of Florida, much to the dismay of the ecstatic, leftwing residents.
“Ha, looks like Ron DeathSantis screwed up again,” wrote one of the Democrat residents on Twitter. “Just imagine how much his poll numbers will drop after pictures of my decimated house go viral. A loss for him and a win for me.”
A liberal family in Cape Coral were seen driving a bulldozer into their home after the category 4 hurricane unfortunately left their home with minimal damage.
“How are we gonna make Ron DeSatan look bad when our home’s still intact?” Asked the homeowner as he smashed the windows of his home and set it on fire. “I’d rather lose my home and live on the street before I’d go through another four years of Governor Ron DeathSentence.”
After destroying their home, the homeowners sat down for a post-hurricane interview and expressed how deeply upset they were that Governor DeSantis could let something like this happen under his watch.
