HOLLYWOOD– The TV series Star Trek: Picard has been taking a lot of heat lately for its failure to hire a real Klingon to play the part of Worf, with hundreds of Twitter users claiming the science fiction drama is human-washing the aliens on the show.
Angry Twitter bots have been calling on Star Trek actor Michael Dorn to step down from his role as Worf and to encourage producers to hire an actual Klingon for the role, and are also demanding that the actor apologize for taking an alien’s job.
“When is the human-washing of aliens in Hollywood going to end?” One Twitter user named YonkersMoron_Compliant! asked. “Human supremacy is the most dangerous issue in our country right now.”
Another Twitter user named Vaxed Ukraine Supporter agreed, saying, “Can’t they ever find any real Klingons to play the part of Worf on Star Trek? What’s with the human-washing of alien species in all our movies?”
In addition to replacing Worf with a real Klingon, many unhappy individuals are also demanding that Star Trek fire Data actor Brent Spiner and hire a real android for the role.
