PYONGYANG, NORTH KOREA– Look out South Korea, K-Pop just got some serious competition.
In an effort to overthrow South Korea’s successful dominance in music, the Supreme Leader of North Korea, better known as Kim Jong Un, has recently started his own music genre.
Kim-Pop is North Korea’s answer to South Korea’s K-Pop music and Kim Jong Un is calling out all the stops to try and take over the music world.
Kim-Pop is quickly creeping up in the music charts and fans all over North Korea have been forced to buy every album and listen to them nonstop or face severe penalties.
Even though Kim-Pop is now number one in North Korea, it still has serious ground to cover if it wants to make it, not only in South Korea, but across the world.
Kim Jong Un put out a press release to every major news station across the world, telling them that if his Kim-Pop music groups are not number one on the music charts then he will blow up the entire world.
Kim-Pop’s first musical group was K-5, which consisted of five female singers who wore all black uniforms and sung their praises to Supreme Leader. But due to low album sales, Supreme Leader forced K-5 to retire early by using them for target practice.
Look for Kim-Pop’s latest group Kim-Praisers to be used for target practice once their album sales also tank.
