TOPEKA, KANSAS– A Topeka man was taken to a local mental institution after claiming that Q-tips had cleaned his ears. Friends and family say that the man has been going through some personal issues lately.
Kevin Harbinger, 39, was taken to the Topeka Mental Institute and given numerous psychological evaluations due to his outlandish claim that Q-tips removed dirt, wax, and other debris from, not one, but both of his ears.
“Mr. Harbinger is being treated by our finest physicians,” Dr. Emory Howard told Channel 69 reporters. “After injecting Mr. Harbinger with tranquilizers, anxiety medications, painkillers, and Viagra, he still insists that these so-called Q-tips removed impurities from his ears.”
This isn’t the first time that Harbinger was admitted to the Topeka Mental Institute for making crazy claims. In 2019, he was physically removed from his home by TMI personnel after he went around telling everyone that a toothbrush had removed plaque from his teeth.
“This’s Mr. Harbinger’s third offense,” Dr. Howard added. “And according to Kansas law, anyone who doesn’t recover after being admitted to a mental health institute for three psychological infractions is to be euthanized and have their brain donated to a local homeless shelter to feed the indigent.”
