HOLLYWOOD– This summer, a remake of the classic 1984 Karate Kid movie titled The Karate Kidd, starring a young kid named Billy Goat in an all new cast, will be hitting theaters just in time to have it available on DVD by Christmas.
In this thrilling remake of the 80’s karate flick, Billy plays a character named Kidd and must face his fears as he learns the ways of the Goat Technique by training under master Scape Goat. In his quest to master the Goat Technique, Billy befriends a female sheep named Dolly, who happens to go to the same high school as Billy. The two meet after Kidd gets ruffed up by a few arrogant kids at the local beach.
Fans will be happy to know that the original movie’s lead actor Ralph Macchio will make a cameo appearance as a younger-looking older guy playing a high school age student standing by a water-cooler inside the school where Kidd attends.
“This’s a dream come true,” Billy told TMZ reporters, eating a tin can. “I grew up watching Ralph play the part the best that a human can possibly do. At least now we’ll get to see a more realistic version of a movie where a young kid trains under a karate master and then falls in love with a classmate from the beach and then kicks the butt of the cocky blonde kid at the end after breaking his leg.”
