LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA– A new hip, chic salon recently opened up in an affluent section of Los Angeles that uses gardening tools to style people’s hair and is running advertisements on home improvement channels.
The 10,000-square-foot Cabello Loco has all kinds of stylish elements, such as grooming chairs on ceilings and goats who nibble on your hair to get rid of spit ends. But the real reason people are flocking to Cabello Loco is for the wild way the salon cuts people’s hair. Every stylist only uses hedge-clippers and other gardening tools to give customers that unique, fashion model look.
According to the owner, 47 year old gardener Byron Byron, the salon’s unique tactic is a huge success and people from all over the state are flocking to the salon to get their own outlandish hair services.
“No one else’s doing what we’re doing,” bragged Byron Byron as he gave local ABC news affiliate reporters a tour of Cabello Loco. “All our high-quality gardening tools are shipped in from a manufacturing plant in Afghanistan and we only use freshly flushed toilet water to coat our customer’s hair with.”
Byron Byron got the idea of using gardening tools for customer’s hair while down on his knees trimming weeds in his garden.
“I had the weeds in my hand,” he started to say, “and thought, why can’t I use these tools to shape people’s hair?”
Byron Byron promises that every customer will leave the salon with their own unique look.
“We’re coming out with our own line of products,” he said, holding up a green bottle of shampoo. “This’s our new fabulous shampoo made out of plant fertilizers and other earthy materials. We added extra nitrogen in here that’s guaranteed to help people with thinning hair.”
