HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA– Music sensation Azealia Banks is claiming that she is a victim of “polite supremacy” and that she didn’t get booted off of Twitter until she insulted politeness.
Banks’ Twitter account was suspended yesterday after she hurled numerous insults on Twitter after a polite man held a door open for her as she exited an all-you-can-eat buffet. According to witnesses, Banks went into a tirade after the unidentified man told her to “have a nice day, madam.”
Banks took to Twitter and expressed her frustrations at the overwhelming politeness that she receives whenever she goes out in public. In response, Twitter immediately deleted her tweets, so she turned to Instagram to vent her anger.
“I’ve been belittled and called crazy,” Banks posted on Instagram after being suspended by Twitter, “but lemme tell ya, my Twitter account didn’t get suspended till I said politeness is a mental disorder.”
Banks is also being investigated by various animal rights groups after several witnesses claimed that Banks ran off in a huff when a cute tabby cat was seen brushing up against her leg and purring.
This isn’t the first time Banks has voiced her opinion about polite supremacy. Two months ago, she tweeted several insults at fellow A-list celebrity Rosie O’Donnell, angrily reminding O’Donnell that she is not one of them [polite people], but that she is one of “us.”
“Those polite privileges,” Banks tweeted to Rosie, “you’re so eager to take part of don’t apply to you. You’re rude like me, girl. You and me both suffer at the helm of polite supremacy and you have no right to tell me I’m not worthy just cause you be trying to reach for that polite privilege.
“There’s plenty other polite celebrities,” she added, “that will get pushed ahead of you when you’re working twice as hard as they are. It ain’t right and I’m here to tell the whole world screw all you polite people.”
According to TMZ, Banks was seen kicking over several chairs after Twitter’s CEO told her that he was “sorry for the inconvenience.” No word on whether the chairs were okay or if they apologized for being in Banks’ way.
