LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA– The internet was outraged about an Old Navy ad of a woman wearing a blue dress for their new fall Pumpkin collection line, which features two models with one of them boldly wearing a blue dress.
The models in the ad expressed their concern over the backlash they’ve received over one of them wearing a blue dress for Old Navy’s fall clothing line, saying that it’s time for the world to catch up with the times and accept people for wearing different colored clothes that don’t match their partners.
The female ad model posted a heartfelt response on Facebook. “In light of all this controversy, I’m proud to be a part of multicolored clothes and also integrating different shades of clothing with someone who’s wearing a different color than me.”
The male model wearing the orange shirt took to Twitter to voice his intelligent opinion.
“They gave me a shirt, bro, and I wore it,” he tweeted to his three followers.
The internet’s colored clothes haters showed their true colors by saying that the ad was giving the world the wrong impression by saying that different colored clothes match.
In response to the backlash, Old Navy stood their ground by putting out a new ad with the two models exchanging their colors, showing the world that Clothes Color Combination hatred won’t be tolerated.
