HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA– A spin-off of CNN’s popular food show Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown called Anthony Morestain: Farts Unknown is being praised by critics and has already surpassed Parts Unknown in ratings, especially in the 18 to 24 year old male demographic.
According to various news media outlets, CNN was so shocked at the success of Parts Unknown, due to using a cranky old man as its host, that they decided to come up with a spin-off, which revolves around Anthony Bourdain’s 25 year old cousin Anthony Morestain. Sources at CNN are calling Morestain a younger, hipper version of Bourdain and they hope to bring in a much younger audience to it’s older adult-oriented network.
“Farts Unknown has been renewed for fifty more seasons,” said CNN spokesman Martin Coriander while holding up the show’s new promo poster of Morestain sitting on a toilet. “Farts Unknown focuses more on what happens after you eat all the weird crap that Anthony Bourdain eats. Audiences don’t get to see the after-affects of Bourdain’s indigestible meals and that’s where Farts Unknown comes in.”
Food critic Jacques Merde says that Farts Unknown gives audiences the finer details and quality that Parts Unknown is lacking.
“Farts Unknown shows the real grittiness of what goes on in the food culture,” Merde said as he took out photos of his bathroom after eating at various restaurants. “Morestain takes us into a world often overlooked due to aesthetic purposes and in my opinion that’s what hurts our business. People want to see what goes on after the cameras are turned off and I must say, Farts Unknown delivers in that department.”
Anthony Morestain: Farts Unknown airs right after Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown at 10 p.m. on Sundays.
