MIAMI, FLORIDA– A new boy band out of Miami, Florida named Crib Boys has been scorching the music charts with their latest release From The Crib, selling more than 30 million albums worldwide in only\u00a0its\u00a0first week and overtaking Katy Perry\u00a0as the number one pop artist in the world in the increasingly popular B-Pop category.<\/p>\n
According to their website, the baby boy band\u00a0burst onto the scene as soon as\u00a0their mothers gave birth to them and doctors gave them their first slap of reality. The\u00a0quartet of ten moth old members\u00a0consists of Alex the good boy, Jason the bad boy, Heath the older boy and Stu the sensitive one.<\/p>\n
Once Crib Boys started gaining popularity over the past month, the band received its own Twitter account, with their number of followers surpassing artists who are much older and who have been on the music scene for decades. Given that artist popularity means that the more followers you have the more you’ll add, it’s no surprise that Crib Boys has come out on top this year.<\/p>\n

Crib Boys is\u00a0currently signed to Sony Music Entertainment, one of the first\u00a0agencies to get on board with the latest B-Pop craze. With hit songs such as “Crawl” and “Diaper Daddy” blazing the music charts, it’s no surprise that these babies\u00a0are doing so well.<\/p>\n
“I wrote ‘Crawl’ while crawling on the floor,” said ten month old Alex as the babies gave MTV an exclusive interview. “Writing that song gave me hope that someday I’ll be an inspiration to people and be able to walk.”<\/p>\n
“I never dreamed we’d get this big,” said ten and a half month old eldest member Heath through a dark goatee. “We can’t even go anywhere without thousands of girls attacking our baby strollers and asking us for autographs. It’s crazy.”<\/p>\n
“One girl tried pulling off my diaper for\u00a0a souvenir,” said bad boy Jason, lifting up his shirt and exposing a skull tattoo on his belly. “I threw my baby bottle at her, hoping she’d run off. My manager\u00a0told me that someone\u00a0sold that bottle on eBay for $50,000.”<\/p>\n
Outside of MTV studios, thousands of screaming female fans hung out in the hopes of catching a glimpse of Crib Boys once\u00a0they leave for their limousine. An MTV reporter on the wild scene\u00a0proved just how popular Crib Boys actually have become.<\/p>\n
“I love them so much,” shouted 13 year old Jessica Steiner from behind a barricade meant to hold back the crowd of enthralled females. “I have their posters and baby pictures all over my room. Me and my sister dance to “Crawl” all night”<\/p>\n
When asked by the MTV reporter who her favorite Crib Boys member was, Jessica was uncertain. “I love them all. I love Stu cause he’s the sensitive one, but Alex is so cute. I’m not sure ’cause I like Heath’s goatee since it makes him look so much older than ten months.”<\/p>\n
