LONDON, UK \u2014 Anti-racism activists protesting a Restore Britain campaign event in North London reportedly demanded that several white British citizens involved with the campaign “go back to where they came from,” despite the activists being unable to identify any other country the individuals could reasonably be expected to return to.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred during a weekend clash where progressive protesters surrounded local political canvassers. In a desperate effort to prove how welcoming and anti-xenophobic they are, the activists began screaming “You don’t belong here!” to the people who were born roughly four miles down the road.<\/p>\n
“We’re here to oppose racism, xenophobia and intolerance,” said one protester while pointing at a white Restore Britain canvasser. “Now get the hell back to wherever you came from or wherever your people originated from!”<\/p>\n
Witnesses report that the activists became increasingly frustrated when the White Restore British citizens politely explained that they were, in fact, already where they came from, as were their parents, grandparents, and generations going back hundreds of years.<\/p>\n
“That is exactly the kind of bigoted, far-right logic we are here to smash,” explained the local Anti-Racism organizer. “Telling a native Briton to go back to their own country is the highest form of anti-racism. They need to leave Britain and go back to Britain, because there’s no room for racism in Britain.”<\/p>\n
