But while network executives initially threatened legal action under the First Amendment, CNN\u2019s board held an emergency midnight strategy session and opted instead for the ultimate retaliatory strike.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If the President wants to play games with access, he should be prepared to face the consequences,&#8221; said a CNN executive with the network&#8217;s emergency response strategy. &#8220;We are giving the White House until midnight tonight to reinstate our pool passes. If our team&#8217;s not allowed back into the briefing room by that time, we may have no choice but to resort to telling the truth.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailysoak.com\/index.php\/2026\/04\/26\/cnn-accuses-trump-of-being-aggressively-uncooperative-for-refusing-to-be-assassinated\/\">CNN<\/a> officials, the network has spent the past several hours preparing a completely factual report about the president that contains no exaggerations, misleading headlines, selective omissions, anonymous sources with suspiciously convenient information, or editorial interpretations disguised as breaking news.<\/p>\n<p>At press time, CNN was reportedly preparing its next report on President Trump after editors discovered that the network could not find anything inaccurate about the president to correct.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON\u00a0\u2014 CNN issued a stern warning to President Donald Trump Saturday, threatening to begin reporting accurate, fact-based information about his administration if the network&#8217;s ban from the White House is not immediately lifted.
