SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA– Being hailed by progressives as a critical step toward accountability, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill Tuesday requiring ICE agents to remove their masks while operating in the state. The ironic legislation comes as a direct response to the Governor’s own unmasked escapades during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he famously dined at the French Laundry without a face covering despite enforcing a strict mask mandate on his constituents.<\/p>\n

“ICE agents are no exception to my own values of transparency and accountability,” Gavin Newsom declared with a straight face at the signing ceremony, smirking with self-righteous hypocrisy. “If I can enjoy a $1,200 wine unencumbered by the constraints of public health, surely President Trump’s federal law enforcement Nazi officers can do the same while deporting our undocumented immigrants.”<\/p>\n

The bill mandates that all ICE personnel remove their masks during operations, including raids, arrests, border patrols, and when being targeted by radical left snipers. Agents found in violation will face penalties of having the governor call them bad names, with Newsom<\/a> demanding that “Trump’s Nazi Gestapo show your faces so we know the identities of the people committing the holocaust of our mostly peaceful MS-13 murderers.”<\/p>\n

When questioned about the hypocrisy of enforcing a rule he never followed himself, Gov. Gavin Newsom<\/a> shrugged, saying, “Leaders lead by example, and by example they shall lead. And my example is that rules are for the little people.”<\/p>\n

ICE officials have vowed to defy the order, citing concerns about officer safety and the potential for identity theft. “Our agents can’t just walk around with their faces exposed like the way Gavin did countless times during his own COVID mask mandate,” said an ICE spokesperson.<\/p>\n
