His monologues and incessant orange man bad jokes were like watching paint dry, but with more smugness.”

Another audience member, who had been attending Kimmel’s tapings for years, echoed the sentiment. “I’ve been laughing at his jokes for so long, I forgot what real laughter felt like. Now I can finally go home and watch actual comedy, like reruns of The Office or literally anything but Jimmy Kimmel.”

Kimmel’s suspension comes after he made a series of jokes about Trump and Kirk’s assassination, including one about how “his supporters are circling around Trump’s orange skin the same way planets circle around the sun.” While some critics called the jokes “off-color” and “in poor taste,” others defended them as “typical bland, excruciatingly unfunny Kimmel humor.”

But for the studio audience, it was just another example of Kimmel’s desperate attempts to be edgy. “We’re simply relieved we don’t have to pretend to find him funny anymore.”

It was later reported that the time slot previously held by Jimmy Kimmel had seen a 600% surge in ratings after the former late-night host was replaced with a potted plant.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA- In what many are calling “the first funny thing to happen on Jimmy Kimmel Live in years, late-night host Jimmy Kimmel’s studio audience erupted into actual, unscripted applause yesterday when news broke of his indefinite suspension from ABC following his “insensitive” comments about the recent assassination of conservative figure Charlie Kirk, which […]

[7
39,1358,1113,117
post-34441","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-entertainment","tag-donald-trump","tag-jimmy-kimmel","tag-rated-g","tag-tv
["GET
