Speaker Mike Johnson<\/a> was greeted at Ben Gurion Airport and given a suspicious suitcase with the words “Definitely not from AIPAC” written on it before traveling to Tel Aviv to hold a very innocent meeting with a few pro-Israel lobby groups.<\/p>\n“I’m here to listen to the people who matter,” proclaimed Mike Johnson to a group of Israelis, only 7,000 miles away from the Louisianans he’s supposed to be representing. “It’s nice to be here to speak to my real constituents, the ones who pay my bills. I just want all of you know that I work for you and I’m here to take care of all your needs first before anyone else’s.”<\/p>\n
After outcries from his constituents in Louisiana for his failure at addressing all of the issues in his home state, Speaker Johnson’s office released a statement promising that he truly cares about the Louisiana voters and that he sends them his thoughts and prayers.<\/p>\n
