{"id":2804,"date":"2016-06-05T13:34:16","date_gmt":"2016-06-05T18:34:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dailysoak.com\/?p=2804"},"modified":"2026-01-05T15:15:48","modified_gmt":"2026-01-05T20:15:48","slug":"squirre-shaped-corn-chip-fetches-10000-on-ebay","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailysoak.com\/index.php\/2016\/06\/05\/squirre-shaped-corn-chip-fetches-10000-on-ebay\/","title":{"rendered":"Squirrel-Shaped Corn Chip Fetches $10,000 On Ebay"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI&#8211; A corn chip in the shape of a squirrel recently sold on eBay for a staggering $10,000, making this the most money anyone has ever spent on a squirrel-shaped corn chip.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with\u00a0the Biloxi Times, the corn chip&#8217;s original owner, 34 year old housewife Bobbie Sue Geisel, explained that this wasn&#8217;t the first time that she&#8217;s\u00a0sold oddly shaped pieces of food on eBay.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve sold 13 special-shaped foods on eBay already,&#8221; she said in a strong southern drawl. &#8220;The first one I ever sold on eBay was a cracker shaped like a bunny rabbit for over $4000.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Even though the identity of the person who purchased the squirrel-shaped corn chip remains a mystery, southern girl Bobbie Sue says that she believes it went to a good person.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I know the squirrel went to a good home,&#8221; she said as she adjusted her hair curlers. &#8220;I always make sure I put on my eBay descriptions that I want my food shapes to go to a good home.
