I am very sorry for making this unquestionably offensive decision and thank all of you for holding me accounting for using hack material.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14213\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14213\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14213\" src=\"https:\/\/dailysoak.com\/StagingSite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/JimmyFallonHackFace2-copy-min.jpg\" alt=\"Parody Jimmy Fallon Twitter tweet.\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" title=\"\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14213\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">After facing backlash for his distasteful impersonation, Fallon immediately apologized on Twitter to the masses of inconsolable people who have never even heard of Jimmy Fallon.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Before insulting the world with his offensive late night hackface routine, Fallon was a cast member on <em>Saturday Night Live<\/em> where he is remembered for his numerous pleasant performances, which included impersonating fellow comedian Chris Rock in blackface by respectfully darkening his skin, wearing an afro, and then speaking in his most believable black man&#8217;s accent.<\/p>\n<p>To make up for his reprehensible mistake, Fallon later promised that he would never do stand-up comedy, improv comedy, comedy writing, or host <em>The Tonight Show<\/em> again, and every future episode of the show will instead play reruns of <em>The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK&#8211; Jimmy Fallon has been facing major backlash on Twitter for his impersonation of Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show from 2 weeks ago in which he appeared in hackface and pretended that he was an original comedian with funny material that he had actually written himself.
