WASHINGTON– American food Corn Dog announced on his Twitter account yesterday that he is officially running for president in 2020, saying that the lack of enthusiasm of voters for the current crop of Democrat candidates was the impetus for throwing his hat in the ring.<\/p>\n

The deep-fried snack is seeking to sway uncertain liberal voters that don’t believe anyone is strong enough to defeat President Donald Trump, bringing his immense popularity as a staple American food to the political table.<\/p>\n

According to a recent CNN poll, 69% of undecided voters claim that most of the leading Democrat candidates for president have left a bad taste in their mouth. While another 32% stated that many of the older candidates like Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren were too dry, chewy, and unpalatable .<\/p>\n

Mr. Dog has expressed concern about the party going too far left, with many present Democrat candidates adopting a more pro-Chinese cuisine.<\/p>\n

After announcing his bid for the presidency, Corn Dog has been giving rallies inside supermarkets across the United States, using the catchy campaign slogan “Forget Corn Pop! Vote Corn Dog!”<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It’s going to be a tough road ahead if Corn Dog plans on unseating Trump<\/a> if he wins the nomination, being that the nationalistic president adheres to a very popular, pro-American diet of McDonald’s fast food.<\/p>\n
