{"id":10315,"date":"2019-07-10T14:25:03","date_gmt":"2019-07-10T19:25:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dailysoak.com\/?p=10315"},"modified":"2022-01-03T21:30:39","modified_gmt":"2022-01-04T02:30:39","slug":"12-year-old-archaeologist-discovers-dinosaur-proves-earths-at-least-2-years-old","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dailysoak.com\/index.php\/2019\/07\/10\/12-year-old-archaeologist-discovers-dinosaur-proves-earths-at-least-2-years-old\/","title":{"rendered":"12 Year Old Archaeologist Discovers Dinosaur, Proves Earth&#8217;s At Least 2 Years Old"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX, ARIZONA&#8211; The discovery of a dinosaur last week in Arizona has been making headlines around the world, and the archaeologist who found it was none other than a 12 year old boy.<\/p>\n<p>Young archaeologist Harrison &#8220;Indiana&#8221; Jones was digging in his parent&#8217;s backyard with a red plastic toy shovel near his swing-set when he made the startling archaeological find.<\/p>\n<p>After hearing news of the dinosaur discovery, numerous <a href=\"https:\/\/dailysoak.com\/StagingSite\/index.php\/2018\/01\/25\/can-cats-cure-baldness-in-humans-one-scientist-says-yes\/\">scientific communities around the world<\/a> rushed out to the Phoenix home in hopes of catching a glimpse of the rare dinosaur and also talk to the courageous young boy who was responsible.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I can&#8217;t believe I found it,&#8221; said Harrison to <em>Archaeology For Morons<\/em> reporters with his proud parents by his side. &#8220;I started digging in the dirt &#8217;cause I wanted to bury my brother Sean&#8217;s favorite Xbox game for future people to find. That&#8217;s when I hit something hard and got really excited.&#8221;<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_10317\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-10317\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10317 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/dailysoak.com\/StagingSite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/DinosaurDiscovered2-min.png\" alt=\"Archaeologist boy with red sneakers taking photo of toy dinosaur on sand.\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" title=\"\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-10317\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">This is the photo that little Harrison took that sparked a worldwide phenomenon.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Harrison went on to say that approximately 2 years ago when he was 10 years old, he buried his brother Sean&#8217;s favorite toy dinosaur so that future generations could one day see what toys from the past looked like.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I forgot I buried it,&#8221; Harrison said in reference to the unearthed toy dinosaur.<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t the first toy dinosaur <a href=\"https:\/\/dailysoak.com\/StagingSite\/index.php\/2016\/07\/13\/archaeologists-unearth-unbelieveable-artifacts-inside-egyptian-pyramid\/\">discovery that made national headlines<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2014, a 13 year old paleontologist from Nevada was playing the &#8220;hide my older sister&#8217;s makeup kit&#8221; game in his backyard when he came across a fragment of a skull from plastic toy dinosaur bones that he had buried 4 years prior.<\/p>\n<p>Upon closer analysis, experts found that the dinosaur has been around for at least 3 years, proving that the earth is a minimum of 3 years old, even older than previously surmised. In child years, says Harrison, 3 years is quite a long time.<\/p>\n<p>These dinosaurs aren&#8217;t just restricted to Arizona.
